It’s going to be a beautiful Victoria Day weekend and we all know what that means: it’s time to get your yard in shape for the months ahead. Some of you will be gardening or cutting the grass while others will be opening the pool – whatever type of weekend warrior you are, be sure to schedule in some time for an amazing barbeque. Let’s welcome the warm weather, chase away the rain and celebrate the long weekend! Here’s what you could be grilling in a few days.
Winner winner chicken dinner
We’ve got boneless, skinless chicken breasts (a customer favourite), bone-in chicken breasts that are full of flavour, and a number of other poultry options. If you checked out this week’s specials, you may have noticed that whole chickens are on sale – so load up! We’ve also got jumbo tip wings (SO GOOD) and chicken sausages (perfect for the grill). Chicken is great on the bbq with your favourite sauce or spice rub. Try it with grilled veggies or over baby spinach, pine nuts, red onions and goat’s cheese. Anything goes!
Our store-made sausages come in a wide variety of flavours, from classic Farmer’s Sausage to Honey Garlic or Italian. We’ve also got pork ribs, pork chops and plenty of roasts to choose from. Try slow-cooking a marinated pork roast over the grill, or grill up some delicious ribs – you’ll be a long weekend hero!

We’ve got bacon-wrapped tenderloin on sale this week, and that’s only the beginning. Come out to Simcoe or Stoney Creek to grab some burgers, beef hotdogs and sausages, roasts and more…like steaks.
