Happy Holidays from VG Meats

Christmas is a special time of year, and our family is no different than yours. We gather, share stories and laughter, exchange presents and share in a wonderful meal together. It’s a magical time that we look forward to, and the source of many fond VG family memories. From our grandparents and Mom and Dad VG to all four of us brothers with our own partners and children, we have a lot of love and much to be thankful for. We truly wish this joy for everyone!

In addition to our VG family, we have another group of people in our lives that mean a lot to us: the VG Meats team. We’d like to take a moment to thank our amazing staff in Simcoe and Stoney Creek, many of whom have been with us for years and feel like family. For all that you do, thank you! Your hard work and dedication helped make 2017 a success – we wouldn’t be able to do anything we do without you guys.

Looking back, it was a great year with plenty of highlights. We had a second successful season with our new pasture-raised chickens, and continued to innovate and improve our beef farming processes. We helped college students learn to butcher like the pros, took part in an incredible documentary, won big at the Ontario Finest Meats competition and introduced customers to our whiskey-aged beef. We have some fantastic local products in the Simcoe and Stoney Creek retail shops, and a lot to look forward to in the new year. We hope you’ll be a part of it!
