Ok, so you know. That’s cool. But guess what? We have a ton of other products in store that are lesser known but equally amazing. 1. Fresh Ontario produce
When in season, our Stoney Creek store has fresh, local veggies available daily. Grab a few steaks and some potatoes, heirloom carrots, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and local greens. Now you’ve got a delicious dinner that was produced entirely by Ontario farming communities. Nicely done!
2. Pulled Pork in 5lb tins (frozen)
Simcoe and Stoney Creek both carry prepared, frozen tins of our amazing pulled pork. Stock up your freezer for those busy weeknights and be ready for every playoff game! Your friends and family (and taste buds) will thank you.
3. The most delicious potatoes ever
Need a quick side dish to go with that juicy steak or chicken? Come to our Stoney Creek shop. We have Yukon Gold mashed with garlic butter, twice baked potatoes with VG Meats bacon, or Yukon Gold mashed with sweet potatoes (our Two Potato Mash).
4. We’ve got buns, hon.
Fresh baked buns and breads from local artisans like De La Terre Bakery, that is. Come in store and see what’s on shelves – sometimes it’s kaiser rolls, other days it’s whole wheat or sourdough loaves (or all of the above, if you come in early enough).
5. Tasty Prepared Vegetables
Why cook when we can do it for you? Check out our mushrooms and red onion with garlic butter, plus other ready-to-serve vegetable side dishes. We’ve got plenty of variety in the refrigerated section in Stoney Creek!
6. Sandwiches, burgers and salads
Need a quick lunch or dinner on-the-go? Come into Stoney Creek and grab something from our hot counter or deli. Depending on the day, we offer burgers, sandwiches and prepared salads in takeout packages.

We’ve got a variety of locally-made condiments such as hot sauce by GTA makers Stasis Preserves and Damien’s Handmade Sauces, delicious marinades and sauces by Wildly Delicious and Rootham’s, amazing mustard by Kozlik’s and a whole lot more. Come explore our shelves and find your favourites!
9. The best horseradish in town
VG Meats is proud to carry Dennis’ Horseradish in a variety of flavours. It’s so good, you’ll be a fan for life. Try it with our aged prime rib roast!
10. Say cheese
Finally, we can’t serve all of that delicious meat, produce, bread and more without adding cheese to the mix. VG Meats is pleased to offer a variety of Jensen Cheese products in store. Crafted in Ontario by a family company, it’s seriously good stuff.
